Constructed using lightweight ABS polymer material (the same stuff golf clubs are made from), GeckoPods are ideal for setting up cameras, LED lights or audio mics in difficult, cramped or confined locations. Each of the Geckopod's three legs are comprised of multi-segmented joints that bend and rotate 360° to allow you to wrap, shape or configure around just about anything -- including tree branches, light poles, shelving and more. Rubberized rings and feet add gripping power when setting up on smooth surfaces such as tile floors, light poles or wet pool decks.
The GeckoPod Elite is designed for professional camera systems with larger lenses or accessories weighing up to 11 pounds. It's larger size makes it durable and sturdy enough to support a wide variety of camera setups in cramped or difficult shooting locations, whether indoors or out. Its built-in universal 1/4"-20 mounting screw can securely mount most cameras, tripods, ball heads or small form factor LED lights.
The GeckoPod Runner is designed for compact cameras, camcorders and other accessories weighing up to 2.2 pounds. You can use it to hold your main shooting camera or for an off-camera flash, microphone or monitor in support of your larger camera. It's miniature quick release plate with 1/4"-20 mounting screw makes setup quick and easy. The integrated pivoting ball-head joint on the top of the GeckoPod Runner means you can easily fine tune your camera or light position after the legs have been attached to your mounting surface.

Compact, durable design is perfect for awkward, cramped or confined spaces To attach the GeckoPod to your camera or LED light, you can screw your camera or light directly into the base of the GeckoPod Elite or attach the quick release plate from the GeckoPod Runner to your device, and then slide the camera or light onto the GeckoPod Runner base. Make sure one of the GeckoPod's legs, or the quick release plate, is aligned with your camera lens for hassle-free setup.
Using a ball head such as the DJ Ball Head is an excellent option for attaching your DSLR or light camcorder to the GeckoPod Elite. It will allow you to fine tune camera positioning, switch easily between portrait and landscape orientation, and create better framed compositions with smooth pans and tilts. After attaching the ball head to the GeckoPod Elite, remove and attach its quick release plate to your camera and then mount the camera to the ball head on the GeckoPod Elite. The ball head has a bubble level so that you can level your camera no matter how it is mounted.
The integrated ball head joint on the top of the GeckoPod Runner serves a similar purpose, allowing you to make minor adjustments to camera or accessory positioning and to better frame or light your shots when the GeckoPod is already attached to a mounting surface.
Stabilizing your camera or accessories on either GeckoPod is as easy as 1-2-3. Whenever possible, use two legs to stabilize your equipment from left to right and the remaining leg to prevent your gear from slipping forwards or backwards.
When attaching the GeckoPod to a smooth pole or railing, first wrap one leg in front and another leg behind the pole. Then, use the third leg as a counterbalance to support the weight of your equipment.
The GeckoPod can boldly go where no tripod has gone before. You can bring it to locations and use it in situations where you couldn't fit or carry a normal C-stand, light stand or tripod. It will easily fit in your suitcase, backpack or even your back pocket. It goes where you go.
